Well, the Captain has returned from Deep Space Nine, Commander Riker's returned from Risa, and it looks like everything's getting back to normal, except for Data's absence...

..I really miss him...

But hopefully we can set the ship back in motion, and get things even more on track. After all, this ship was meant to explore, not be docked at a space station! :)

Things are getting better. Been talking to Counselour Troi dutifully for the past 3 weeks. Though I'm still a little wary about myself, Deanna thinks I'm doing fine. I've been gradually getting back to my normal work speed, and I've managed to finish up a few projects that I had been in the process of completing when all of this happened. So I'm all caught up.

I wouldn't mind a little more work...but no one seems to be around as of late. Most likely back on Deep Space Nine, knowing the rate that people have been coming and going around here ever since we docked at the Station to begin with. I might go back down there later. I would like to visit that Bajoran temple again.

But for now, I think I'll go relax and get myself something to eat. :)

    <lj:music>Fat Boy Slim - The Joker</lj:music>

Man, it's been awhile since I've had some time to myself. Since the lizard incident and more recent, ah, situations, I've been working doubletime with the Engineering team to make sure the ship's engines, facilities, and warp core are working properly. It took a while to do, but it looks like things are back to normal...or whatever normal is around here, anyway.

Other than all that hard work..I've been re-evaluating myself a lot. I mean, first there was the incident with the past lives transgression (THAT did not go well at all), and then the little breakdown with the warp core combined to a trip into the past to the NX-01. And to put the icing on the cake, we have a virus onboard that dropped everyone's sexual inhibitions to about nil.

Fortunately all that's cleared up..but regardless, it's left me with a lot of discomfort. If my mind is so fragile that I go off kilter at the drop of a hat like that, maybe I shouldn't be on duty right now...>.<

I don't know what to do. I'm a little scared to talk to Troi because of the little mishap that happened last time. However...it's her job to make sure my head is functioning properly, and my job to do the right thing to ensure that I perform my duties properly. Maybe now that things have calmed down, I can get some piece of mind from her once and for all.

Full of paintings, a stand with a violin on it and an open doorway to a bedroom with a big roomy bed.*

Nice place. *goes to hold Data in his arms and kisses him* So now that we're alone together, will you make love to me?

The more I take to other rooms in this huge beige building the more there seem to be.

There are even some people in this building with blue skin, a few with pointed ears and I thought I saw a big rock moving. I have transported reptiles to all different rooms of this ship, even put some in a room with a black deformed man who yelled "I am Worf, son of Moegah I am not afraid of lizards and then jumped up on a dresser.

*stands in corridor holding lizard*

Why am I near ten forward and holding a lizard?

*looks around strange area.
I went to see Deanna today and talke to her of that Past Lives Transgression thing I read about. I asked her to take me through my past lives. It was very interesting, if I were to believe all I experience in them I have been various people at various times. The one that effected me the most though was seeing life through Kunta Kinte's eyes. I know that some of my own ancestors were slaves at one time, so that hit close to home.

Since the transgression though, I've been feeling a bit off. Not quite myself. I have zoned out a couple of times, not sure what I might have done since lunch. Not that it matters.

Oh well, I'm sure everything is okay.

*sigh* I haven't seen Data lately, we just seem to never be in the same place at the same time. I see him from a distance, but never up close. I've spent quite a lot of time with Melusine lately, a young woman who has come onto ship and says she's the daughter of Captain Picard and someone. Because of the way my "eyes" work I can see things others don't. She cut her hand on something today, I took a close look at the blood and sure enough she is the Captain's daughter or close relation at least.

When I look at the bioelectric field that surrounds her, it reminds me of someone. Maybe that someone is her other parent. All I know is that I could not tell who the other parent was from the blood I saw today.

Anyway, I've been thinking of Data a lot lately how we used to go to the holodeck for Sherlock Holmes adventures, how we would sit with him painting or playing violin and me reading or doing whatever. How we used to lie in bed next to each other, sated and happy...

Back when he remembered things like our damn anniversary.

Yeah, that's right. It's our anniversary and he hasn't yet comm'ed me today to say anything about it. I left a gift on the dresser for him, but I haven't gotten anything so far. And how can an android forget, anyway? This is wrong. This might be a good place to ask for <s>sex</s> friendship if things don't work out. People here seem <s>dysfunctional</s> friendly. I mean, it may be a bit <s>dangerous</s> interesting for their crew, but at least there aren't any Borg in that sector of space back then for him to team up with.
